Teaching

I love to build capacity in people to love God more deeply and serve Him more effectively. One of the ways I live out this calling is to teach in a classroom setting or online.

I teach leadership, practical theology, and church ministry courses at Trinity Western University and MB Seminary (part of ACTS Seminaries at Trinity). I’ve also taught at other schools in North America, Europe, and Asia (sometimes through a translator). If you’re looking for an undergraduate- or graduate-level teacher, I may be able to help. I also do lots of non-formal training, which you can read about on my Speaking page.

As Director of the ACTS World Campus Online Seminary, I also have the privilege of developing and delivering many online courses.

Here are some of the courses I can teach in your educational institution or organization (either on-site or online):

  • Foundations of Christian Leadership
  • Mentoring, Team-building, and Equipping
  • Leadership Coaching
  • Vision, Strategic Planning, and Organizational Leadership
  • Power, Change, and Conflict
  • Personal Dimensions of Leadership Development
  • Theology of Leadership
  • Leadership Values and Ethics
  • Ministry Governance
  • Evangelism and Faith Formation
  • Discipleship and Mentoring
  • Pastoral Formation
  • Transitional Leadership
  • Managing Volunteers
  • Small Group Ministry

I’d love to start a conversation with you about the possibility of teaching one of these courses (or something else that you think would be a better fit)!
